One specific technology, known as Silversure was of particular interest to us. This cost-effective technology allows for minute particles (nano-particles) of pure silver to be embedded in plastics and fabrics with the effect that they become bacteria, virus and fungus resistant. Our first products were "antibacterial socks" which we launched on television in June 2005. These socks, using the Silversure technology, are highly effective against foot odour.
