American Chemical Society National Meeting in Atlanta
Barbara Karn, visiting scientist on the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies, along with 3 colleagues is chairing the 4th Symposium in Nanotechnology and the Environment at the American Chemical Society National Meeting in Atlanta. The symposium begins on Sunday, March 26, at 9:30 am with Dr. Karn’s presentation on the State of Nano and the Environment. Speakers will focus on research topics in Green Nanotechnology for the remaining 7 sessions over 4 days. The symposium is sponsored by the Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Division of ACS along with the Inorganic Chemistry and Fuel divisions. The schedule includes many of the most prominent researchers in Green Chemistry and in environmental and energy aspects of nanotechnology. The Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies will include aspects of this symposium in its forthcoming report on Green Nanotechnology.
